Coney Island: I took the wheel on the Raceway, with Ryan by my side, we pigged out on boardwalk food and a “Cookie Monster” milkshake, had a heart to heart with my mom, took a dip in the chilly water, and watched lightning behind a pink cloud as the sun set. It was a perfect day. Actually, it’s been a perfect summer so far.
Bailey interrupts my cover of Damien Rice’s 9 Crimes, to give me love and have his 15 minutes of fame. <3 <3 <3 I can’t handle the cute. I can’t. Also, yes, he only has one eye. :p
We spent the morning kayaking, and the rest of the day playing house at Ikea. <3
Ryan called me during recording a song for youtube and I got distracted during the conversation, using the screen as a mirror. I’m absolutely ridiculous. And vain. And I have a pimple. And I love myself. And everyone should have a moment of vanity today- marvel at your beauty, no matter how ugly you may feel every other day. <3
